Job summary

Democratic National Committee is seeking interns for its Spring 2027 Internship Program. The term runs January 11, 2027 to March 19, 2027, with in-person, hybrid, or remote formats. Interns in the Washington, D.C. area may work in person at the DNC Headquarters.

Applicants must be located in the United States and at least 18 years old. The internship provides a $3,700 stipend; housing is not provided. Work commitment is 20 hours per week, with the possibility of alignment to institutional

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a JD or LLM program at an ABA-certified U.S.-based institution
• Graduated with a JD or LLM within the last two years or currently enrolled in a non-legal graduate program

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and fact-finding on legal topics
• Draft emails, memoranda, training materials, and presentations
• Assist in developing internal policies and processes
• Attend internal and external meetings as needed
• Support contracts work flow via research and template development
• Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned
• Attend onboarding/offboarding sessions
