Democratic National Committee is offering a Spring 2027 Civic Engagement and Voter Protection Legal Internship Program. The internship runs Jan 11, 2027 to Mar 19, 2027 with in-person, hybrid, or remote formats. Eligible applicants must be law students in the United States, commit to 20 hours per week, and be physically present in the U.S.

for in-person opportunities. stipend is $3,700, and housing is not provided. Applications are due by November 6, 2026.

Qualificações

• Applicants must be 18+ and currently enrolled in a U.S. law school.
• Must have completed at least one year of law school.
• Commitment of 20 hours per week during the program.
• Physically present in the United States to participate.
• Three professional references, including one from a law school professor.
• Legal memorandum as a writing sample and a cover letter.

Responsabilidades

• Report directly to the Manager of Civic Engagement and Voter Protection.
• Attend mandatory onboarding/offboarding sessions.
• Conduct legal research.
• Draft legal memoranda.
• Organize events.
• Assist the Voter Protection team with the hotline.
• Develop voting rights resources and training materials.
• Support volunteer efforts.
