The International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) offers a paid remote internship with optional New York office, for 10 weeks starting June 7, 2027. You will conduct intake interviews, draft affidavits, and support litigation through research and document preparation.

Applicants must be a rising 2L or 3L in a U.S. JD program, with strong writing and research skills, proficiency in Google Workspace, and excellent English. Externships for academic credit may be available.

Qualifications:

• Must be a rising 2L or 3L enrolled in a J.D. program in the United States; rising 3Ls strongly preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.

Logistics:

• Remote internship with optional New York office availability; full-time 10-week commitment starting June 7, 2027.
• Paid interns receive $17 per hour; externs may receive academic credit.
