Job summary

Slice | Global Equity in New York is hiring a Legal Engineer to translate complex equity work into product workflows. You’ll sit with CFOs, GCs, and equity admins to map grants, approvals, and reporting, and rebuild those processes inside Slice.

You’ll own the customer journey from pre-sales through post-sales, run onboarding end-to-end, and provide guides and playbooks. This role merges legal judgment with product and engineering, with direct access to founders and leadership in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• LLB, JD, or equivalent legal qualification.
• 2-3 years practicing as a corporate lawyer in any setting.
• Experience with venture financings, equity compensation, or governance work.
• Ability to manage several matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using product tools.
• Bias toward ownership and taking initiative in a startup context.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical demos and map how prospects run equity today, showing Slice as the solution.
• Own the post-sales relationship with founders, CFOs, GCs, and admins from onboarding to live operations.
• Build out grant, approval, and exercise workflows on live matters inside Slice.
• Write guides, playbooks, and customer-facing content to accelerate implementations.
• Provide direct feedback to Product and R&D from customer engagements.
