Job summary

Eon.io is seeking an experienced attorney to support its U.S. commercial growth.

The role reports to Executive Leadership and partners with Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and other teams to navigate complex transactions while balancing risk and growth. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of experience in commercial contracting, a J.D., and NY Bar admission, with a background in SaaS or technology companies.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 8+ years of legal experience, including significant commercial contracting and transaction experience.
• Experience at a leading law firm and/or in-house at a SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology company.
• Strong expertise negotiating enterprise SaaS, technology, and strategic commercial agreements.
• Proven ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and support revenue-generating initiatives.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor supporting Eon's U.S. commercial operations.
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a broad range of commercial agreements, including enterprise customer, partner, reseller, vendor, and SaaS agreements.
• Partner closely with Sales and Revenue leadership to structure, negotiate, and close strategic enterprise transactions.
• Advise business stakeholders on legal and commercial risks, providing practical, business-focused guidance.
• Support strategic partnerships, channel programs, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop and improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Security, Product, and Compliance teams to support business objectives and customer requirements.
