Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an enterprising and creative Counsel, International to join our Australian Legal team. You will provide teams across the APAC business with practical legal advice to support the development, launch, and promotion of Hims & Hers products and solutions.

You will get to work on interesting and novel issues at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce. The successful candidate will be proactive and organized with a team-oriented mindset, a positive attitude,

Qualifications

• Law degree with Australian practising certificate and 3–5 years PQE in corporate, commercial law.
• Strong drafting and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
• Commercial judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Collaborative problem-solver who is responsive, proactive, and comfortable working in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts with business stakeholders.
• Provide legal and process support to Patient Support and Operations teams.
• Manage obligations arising from transaction documentation and support corporate structures.
• Manage corporate governance across APAC entities.
• Iterate and maintain internal legal guidance.
• Provide practical, business-focused, solution-oriented, clear and concise legal guidance.
• Develop relationships and build trust with business partners.

As Counsel, International, you will provide teams across the APAC business with practical legal advice to support the development, launch, and promotion of Hims & Hers products and solutions. You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce. The successful candidate will be proactive and organized with a team-oriented mindset, a positive attitude, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a hybrid working environment.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to draft and negotiate commercial contracts
• Provide legal and process support to Patient Support and Operations teams
• Manage obligations arising from transaction documentation and support corporate structures
• Manage corporate governance across APAC entities
• Iterate and maintain internal legal guidance
• Provide practical, business-focused, solution-oriented, clear and concise legal guidance

This role reports to the Senior Legal Commercial Counsel.

About you (Who you are)

Skills & experience

• Law degree with Australian practising certificate and 3–5 years PQE in corporate, commercial law
• Strong drafting and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
• Commercial judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
