Job summary

Siemens Energy in Beijing seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to partner with leadership on strategic and commercial legal matters within a multinational industrial context.

You will lead reviews and negotiations of key customer, supplier, and strategic cooperation agreements while mitigating legal and compliance risks across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified lawyer in China.
• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in a multinational company, top-tier law firm, or complex business setting.
• Proven track record in commercial contracts, project execution, dispute resolution, and corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of anti-corruption, antitrust, data privacy, export control, and sanctions.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on strategic, commercial, and operational legal matters.
• Lead the review and negotiation of customer, supplier, and strategic cooperation agreements.
• Identify and mitigate legal and compliance risks across cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, HR, etc.).
• Manage disputes, investigations, and interactions with external counsel.
