Job summary

IDEMIA in Indiana seeks a legal professional to safeguard the company by providing practical legal advice and ensuring compliance with applicable laws in support of business decisions and operations.

The role covers contracting and litigation, including drafting, vetting and negotiating contracts, tender and public procurement reviews, legal documentation, and coordinating with external counsel; you will advise senior management and conduct legal research to mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, vetting and negotiating various contracts for BU CS (including Digital and Automotive) like Sale Contract, MSA & Work Order, Software License Agreement, End-User License Agreement, PO, Commercial Offer, Bank Guarantee, Service Agreements, MoU, SLA, NDA etc.
• Public procurement including review of tenders, RFPs, RFQs, preparation of pre-bid queries and deviations, etc.
• Drafting and reviewing of various legal documentation
• Advising senior management on various legal topics / issues, impact assessment and risk mitigation plan
• Legal research and study on new legal developments
• Drafting and reviewing of legal notices and replies thereof
• Drafting and reviewing of petitions, affidavits, submissions, applications, replies, pleadings and other legal documents
• Briefing to the external counsel and coordination/follow up for litigation matters of the Company
• Legal research and advising litigation strategies
• Co-ordination and follow-up with various internal and external stakeholders for completion of assigned projects

Key Missions

Contracting – 50%
