Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to own the contracting cycle, negotiate both standard and customized agreements, and guide HR on compliant employment practices. You will also support litigation and protect the company's interests in disputes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial/hi-tech law, a JD from an accredited school, and strong verbal and written communication. Experience with cybersecurity and export controls is a plus.

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Familiarity with standard contract terms and conditions for sales of product and software.
• Experience supporting Marketing or Sales.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills.
• Cybersecurity experience a plus
• Export regulations experience a plus
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent contract development and negotiation skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Own the contracting process from draft to signature across sales, purchasing, and marketing agreements.
• Negotiate standard and customized contracts with clients to achieve win-win outcomes.
• Provide guidance to HR to ensure compliant employment practices.
• Support litigation and protect organizational interests when disputes arise.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing and HR to understand business needs and risks.
