Job summary

bet365, a leading online gambling company, is seeking a Legal Counsel to advise on compliance and regulatory issues across multi‑jurisdictional needs. You will work with the legal team and senior leadership to support regulatory compliance for the worldwide business.

Qualifications

• Licensed Colorado Bar member or eligibility for Colorado Single Client Counsel.
• 2–7 years legal experience in regulated industries.
• Experience in online gambling or sports betting preferred.
• Experience negotiating marketing agreements and advising on marketing regulations.
• In‑house, top law firm, or government agency experience.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong commercial problem‑solving.
• Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building.

• Advising on day‑to‑day legal questions from the business.
• Advising and assisting in customer complaints and external dispute resolution.

Job Description

As Legal Counsel, you will advise on compliance and regulatory issues, and provide guidance on various legal and Business matters as needed.

You will join the legal team and enjoy the challenge of cutting‑edge, multi‑jurisdictional work within a wide range of regulatory frameworks, while playing a central part in the development of the worldwide Business. You will work closely with senior leadership and various areas of the Business to support all aspects of regulatory compliance.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

The base salary range for this position is between $125,000 to $200,000 annually.

Factors which may affect starting pay may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. In addition to the competitive base salary, this role is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package which includes an annual bonus, a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, generous paid time off, and a robust suite of health and welfare benefits with medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Licensed member of the Colorado Bar in good standing or the ability to obtain Single Client Counsel certification in Colorado.
• 2 to 7 years of legal experience.
• Ambitious commercial lawyer with a strong academic background.
• Experience in online gambling and sports betting industry or similar highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience negotiating marketing agreements and advising on marketing regulations is strongly preferred.
• Experience as in-house counsel, at a top law firm or government agency.
• Highly motivated and proactive with a desire to learn and develop.
• Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to provide solid commercial solutions to challenging legal and commercial issues.
• Experience in online gambling and sports betting industry or similar highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
• Effective ability to organize, prioritize, and plan.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, possessing the skills to build rapport and trust at all levels.
• Maintain compliance with individual licensing requirements according to regulations.
