Job summary

Landing Point in Boston seeks a Legal & Compliance Paralegal to support a broad range of legal and compliance matters, including fund closing, entity management, and compliance workflows. You will partner with the internal team to track key documents and deadlines, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely deliverables.

The role requires 3+ years of paralegal or compliance experience, familiarity with fund documentation, and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in asset management, PE, or credit/alternative funds preferred
• Familiarity with fund documentation, amendments, consents, and timelines
• Experience with entity formation/lifecycle management desired

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain key fund documentation, amendments, consents, and dates
• Reconcile and maintain file databases against fund agreements and side letters
• Monitor investor side letter obligations, reporting and restrictions
• Oversee entity management including formations, dissolutions, and board slate management
• Support for expert network reviews and recurring compliance activities
• Respond to AML/KYC requests
• Develop SOPs and best practices for the Legal & Compliance team

Company Overview:

A private equity firm in Boston is hiring a Legal & Compliance Paralegal to join their team. This role will support a broad range of legal and compliance matters, serving as the connective tissue for fund closing, entity management, and compliance workflows.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with the internal Legal & Compliance team to track and maintain key fund documentation, amendments, consents, and dates
• Reconcile and maintain file database and tracker system against fund agreements and side letters
• Monitor and maintain investor side letter obligations, including investment restrictions, excuse rights, and reporting deliverables
• Oversee entity management, including formations, dissolutions, name changes, good standing requests, and board slates
• Provide support for expert network review and execute recurring compliance activities
• Organize and respond to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) requests
• Develop best practices, documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Legal & Compliance team

Qualifications:

• 3+years of experience as a paralegal or legal/compliance associate, preferably in asset management, private equity, or credit/alternative investment fund clients, but not required
• Familiarity with entity formation and lifecycle management
• Bachelor’s degree; paralegal certificate a plus but not required

Compensation:

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000, Plus Bonus
