Weber Gallagher seeks an organized Collections and Trust Accounting Coordinator for our Chicago office. The role focuses on receivables management, trust postings, and coordinating with partners to keep AR accurate and timely.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in law firm collections, strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must work in Chicago 5 days/week; salary range is $80,000 to $85,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in law firm collections and trust accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate client matter data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across audiences.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, generate, and review monthly receivables reports.
• Maintain accurate records of open receivables and collection attempts.
• Contact client adjusters regarding past due invoices.
• Receive and apply client trust payments to matters.
• Prepare disbursements/settlements for attorney requests.
