The ideal candidate has 3+ years of law-firm billing experience, proficiency with billing software and Excel, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm.
• Experience with LEDES billing, electronic billing systems, and client portals is strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, edit, and finalize client invoices per guidelines.
• Review pre-bills for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with attorneys to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely monthly billing cycles.
• Process electronic billing submissions through e-billing platforms and client portals, including LEDES formats.
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and follow-up.
• Generate monthly billing reports and ad hoc financial reports.
