The role emphasizes accurate document preparation, scheduling, confidentiality, and strong communication, with a remote-first environment and periodic travel to offices across California and beyond.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of Workers' Compensation experience.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate OR Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Type at least 50 wpm with accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Familiarity with managed care plans and legal documentation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provides administrative and clerical support to attorneys and the Office Supervisor.
• Prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents.
• Schedules medical appointments for clients and staff.
• Proofreads documents for spelling and grammar.
• Organizes and maintains client files.
• Screens telephone calls and visitors.
• Reads and responds to mail.

We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant with Workers' Compensation experience to join our team. The Legal Assistant maintains a close professional relationship with attorneys and manages their day-to-day activities.

Compensation

• $24 - $35/hour

Daily Objectives

• Provides administrative and clerical support to one or more attorneys and the Office Supervisor.
• Prepares correspondence and simple to moderately complex legal documents.
• Schedules medical appointments.

• Organizes and maintains files.

Skills & Experience
