Job summary

Trustmark Bank's Legal Department is seeking a capable legal assistant to support attorneys across litigation, document preparation, production, and formal correspondence with judges and professionals. You will work in a fast-paced banking environment, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel to ensure timely, accurate responses.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree or a high school diploma with two years of legal experience; strong written and oral communication skills; and

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with legal-related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic understanding of internal banking procedures and banking law.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Adobe for document production and management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legal questions and issues and formulate proper responses with attorneys.
• Assist attorneys in all legal matters within the department.
• Assist with phones, routing issues to Attorneys.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
