We are looking for a smart and self-motivated individual to provide administrative assistance to our Amazon Web Services Products Legal team. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence to business teams, coordinating the execution of agreements, maintaining legal contracts, preparing status reports, improving processes, performing general office tasks (such as calendaring, filing, and budget tracking), and coordinating other legal and administrative matters with business groups.
The Legal Assistant would start your day reviewing incoming contract requests and prioritizing execution tasks. They might spend the morning coordinating signature workflows for several commercial agreements, following up with business stakeholders on outstanding items, and updating the team's contract tracker. After lunch, they could be preparing a status report for the weekly team meeting, filing executed agreements, and responding to queries from business teams about contract timelines, or other process and administrative related tasks. Throughout the day, they’ll manage the team's calendar, flag urgent items, and look for ways to make processes smoother. No two days are exactly alike — they’ll balance routine administrative tasks with ad hoc requests, all while keeping the team organized and on track.
Our legal team at AWS is a collaborative, forward-thinking group dedicated to supporting one of the most innovative technology companies globally. We don't just practice law; we help shape the future of AI and cloud computing. You'll be part of a team that values intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and the ability to transform complex legal challenges into clear, actionable guidance.
