We are looking for a smart and self-motivated individual to provide administrative assistance to our Amazon Web Services Products Legal team. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence to business teams, coordinating the execution of agreements, maintaining legal contracts, preparing status reports, improving processes, performing general office tasks (such as calendaring, filing, and budget tracking), and coordinating other legal and administrative matters with business groups.
A day in the life The Legal Assistant would start your day reviewing incoming contract requests and prioritizing execution tasks. They might spend the morning coordinating signature workflows for several commercial agreements, following up with business stakeholders on outstanding items, and updating the team's contract tracker. After lunch, they could be preparing a status report for the weekly team meeting, filing executed agreements, and responding to queries from business teams about contract timelines, or other process and administrative related tasks. Throughout the day, they’ll manage the team's calendar, flag urgent items, and look for ways to make processes smoother. No two days are exactly alike — they’ll balance routine administrative tasks with ad hoc requests, all while keeping the team organized and on track.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
