Qualifications

• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Legal Assistant - Personal Injury / Medical Malpractice

$60,000-$70,000 annually

Full-Time

An established Arizona law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Tucson office. This role will support attorneys handling personal injury, medical malpractice, and civil litigation matters.

What You'll Do

• Support attorneys throughout active litigation matters
• Prepare and file pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and legal documents
• Manage calendars, hearings, depositions, and critical deadlines
• Maintain organized case files and litigation tracking
• Coordinate medical records and case documentation
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts
• Ensure documents and filings are accurate, complete, and timely

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Legal Assistant or litigation support experience
• Personal injury and/or medical malpractice experience required
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filings
• Experience managing deadlines, discovery, hearings, and depositions
• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple active cases in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ProLaw, NetDocuments, Worldox, TurboCourt, e-filing, or similar legal technology is a plus

Compensation

$60,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience.
