The Douglas Solicitor-General’s Office is currently accepting resumes for a Legal Assistant. The candidate must possess excellent secretarial and/or paralegal skills. Position involves extensive contact and communication with victims, courts, attorneys and the general public. Candidate must be able to independently pay attention to detail, a basic understanding of criminal court proceedings and the ability to complete legal forms, follow policies and procedures. Some heavy lifting is required of boxes in excess of 25 pounds. Candidate must be willing to do any other duties as assigned.
Employment is contingent on passing a mandatory Physical/Drug Screen/MVR and Background Investigation.
