Seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our Personal Injury team in our Dover, NH office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative, team-focused law firm that truly values its employees.

What You'll Do

• Support attorneys throughout all stages of personal injury litigation.
• Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other case documents.
• Coordinate discovery, organize exhibits, and manage case files.
• File documents electronically in both New Hampshire State and Federal Courts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
• Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records.
• Coordinate permanent impairment evaluations and other medical appointments.
• Prepare medical evidence and trial materials.
• Track court deadlines, litigation calendars, and case milestones.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and hearing logistics.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in personal injury litigation.
• Experience managing plaintiff personal injury files from intake through litigation.
• Knowledge of medical records, insurance claims, and claims adjuster communications.
• Familiarity with New Hampshire court procedures and litigation deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Filevine or other legal case management software is a plus.
