Work Location All positions are considered on-site roles. Responsible for managing day‑to‑day operations of the legal organization, including administrative and support services to the legal team. The position works independently in a highly organized manner with reasonable supervision.
All employees are required to complete a minimum of 19 hours. People leaders are required an additional 16 hours of leadership development. Perform other duties not listed as assigned. (MUST BE INCLUDED) The following duties are required for People Leader roles specifically: Exercises full discretion and decision‑making authority in the recruitment, selection, hiring, mentoring, coaching, development & termination of staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgetary constraints, and workforce planning strategies. Drive high performance by administering the performance management process timely, setting clear expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing initiatives that enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
Qualifications for Role (necessary or mandatory) Associate degree plus three (3) years of law office experience, i.e., legal secretary, legal assistant or paralegal. Official transcripts are required.

Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system. Excellent reasoning skills and judgment; knowledge of business administration and advanced secretarial practices and procedures. Knowledge of computers and related equipment, hardware, and software applicable to assigned duties, Ability to independently prioritize, track, and manage multiple projects, assignments, and duties to comply with statutory and court-ordered deadlines with strong attention to detail. Skill in entering, retrieving, copying, tracking and storing department records, files and reports. Skill in preparing, editing, and developing responses to politically sensitive or confidential correspondence. Knowledge of customer service practices and procedures. Knowledge of College policies and procedures. Must possess high ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality of legal records and documents. Ability to balance conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential projects and meet critical deadlines. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse constituents and stakeholders, internal/external, to the organization. Ability to support legal team and participate in inter-office meetings, requiring regular, predictable in‑person presence to enable coordination of departmental work. Intellectually agile in response to challenges of internal and external environments. Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
