Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Legal Analyst I to assist the legal department with routine projects for internal and external customers. You will analyze day-to-day matters and help communicate risk management information in line with company objectives.

The role requires an Associate's degree, at least two years of relevant experience, and strong drafting, research, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree is required.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree is desired.
• Experience in contract drafting or corporate law is desired.

Responsibilities

• Undertake legal projects including insurance coverage analysis and contract review.
• Coordinate and monitor legal department reports and filings.
• Respond promptly to agent, policyholder, and regulator inquiries.
• Research policy language, statutes, and case law to complete projects.
• Assist with LegalAssist inquiries and communicate legal information.
• Provide status reports to management on assigned projects.
• Participate in meetings and departmental projects.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
