Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a Legal Analyst to support the General Counsel and Corporate Services teams. You will conduct legal research, assemble documents, and maintain records, serving as the point person for internal teams needing legal or compliance input.

The role involves daily filing, both physical and electronic, and general administrative duties. The position requires a BS/BA and 3+ years’ experience, with strong writing, research, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required with 3+ years’ experience in legal/compliance roles.
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage and organize documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Case review for legal issues.
• Provide support to the legal, privacy, and compliance teams on routine and complex matters.
• Update case summaries, track court dates and deadlines, process referrals, communicate with clients.
• Shadow corporate counsel on contract negotiation calls and meetings.
• Support the improvement of standard form agreements and processes.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Conduct thorough research on topics assigned by counsel.
• Maintain records and contribute to program reports in compliance with grants or agreements.
• Attend internal client meetings on sponsorships/partnerships and other needs requiring legal support.
• Learn to review files and draft responses under supervision.
• Coordinate acquisition of information to complete certifications and representations.
