Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced legal professionals to join as contract contributors. In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to evaluate, annotate, and improve AI-generated responses related to legal research, contract analysis, and statutory and case law interpretation.

This is not traditional practice; you will work fully remote from the United States, Canada, the UK, or Australia, with compensation between $50 and $100 per hour plus bonus options on some projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated legal experience in litigation, corporate/transactional, compliance, or similar.
• Excellent written communication and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Self-directed, remote work capable and highly independent.
• Based in United States, Canada, the UK, or Australia.
• General understanding of LLM use and the AI landscape.

Responsibilities

• Review and annotate AI-generated responses to legal prompts for accuracy and clarity.
• Annotate and rank model outputs to guide AI training and improvement.
• Write clear, expert-level answers to legal questions that serve as training examples.
• Flag errors, misconceptions, or ambiguous outputs and provide corrective guidance.
• Maintain consistent quality and throughput throughout the sprint engagement.
