Job summary

Considine Search seeks a Legal AI Solutions Attorney in New York to bridge legal practice with technical AI tooling. You will turn firm legal expertise into practical AI workflows, develop prompts, and build lightweight automations, while guiding adoption across practice groups.

Ideal candidates combine a JD with 4+ years of BigLaw or similar experience, proficiency in prompt engineering, and the ability to train non-technical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preference for Law, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school required.
• Admitted to practice, NY bar admission preferred.
• 4+ years of legal practice in BigLaw or comparable environment; in-house considered.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and AI workflows.
• Understanding of retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and AI vendor landscape.
• Experience designing training and enablement content for varied technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with attorneys and business professionals to surface pain points and translate into AI-enabled workflows.
• Design, build, and iterate on prompts, libraries, and multi-step workflows.
• Evaluate workflows for quality; implement human review checkpoints and guardrails.
• Provide coaching and office hours to support AI tool use and workflow development.
• Develop training curricula, playbooks, and reference materials to boost firmwide AI fluency.
• Maintain and refine deployed workflows, updating prompts and sources as needed.
• Track adoption, usage, and impact metrics to inform ongoing development.
• Stay current on AI tools and techniques relevant to legal and business functions.
• Collaborate with IS, InfoSec, Knowledge & Innovation to ensure security and alignment.
• Serve as liaison to Information Systems for testing and integration with firm systems.
