You will provide expert advice on employment law, manage employee relations, ensure compliance with labour legislation, and support HR. This position plays a critical advisory role within a reputable manufacturing company.

Qualifikationen

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on Employment Law.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation and case law.
• Proven experience advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Experience representing clients at the CCMA and bargaining councils.

Aufgaben

• Provide legal advice on employment contracts, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with Labour Relations Act, BCEA, EEA, and other employment legislation.
• Represent the company in conciliation and arbitration proceedings at the CCMA and bargaining councils.
• Draft and review HR policies, employment agreements, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Advise on workplace disputes, investigations, and performance management processes.
• Conduct legal research on employment law matters and provide updates to management.
• Assist with due diligence exercises related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Develop and deliver training to managers and HR personnel on employment law compliance.
• Manage legal risks associated with employment practices.
