Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review title work and ensure accuracy of title descriptions.
  • Review technical legal descriptions and compare them to right-of-way maps.
  • Incorporate descriptions into legal documents used in condemnation and property conveyances.
  • Provide supervision and training for real estate paralegals in the Title Office.

This position requires an individual who has a strong real property background, with a high degree of proficiency and experience in title abstracting, reading and understanding property plans, and drafting real estate transactional documents, including closing documents.
