Job Description
Join our dynamic insurance defense legal team as a Legal Administrative Support Professional. You will provide essential administrative support to Client Legal Services Attorneys, ensuring smooth legal proceedings management. This role offers hands-on legal experience in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment with exposure to civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Document Management: Enter and manage pleadings, motions, trial documents, and legal correspondence using the case management system.
Case Lifecycle Coordination: Support tasks from case receipt, including assigning cases, preparing and sending letters of representation, filing court entries, tracking financials, answering complaints, sending notices, corresponding with counsel, and file closure.
Calendar Management: Track trial, arbitration, and mediation dates, ensuring timely follow-ups and notifications.
Client & Court Communication: Maintain communication with clients, courts, claim representatives, and opposing counsel via phone, email, and written correspondence—strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Administrative Support: Handle mail, scanning, and filing both remotely and in-office; manage daily duties with high organization and attention to detail.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure data accuracy and compliance using the Team Connect Litigation Management System.
Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve administrative challenges, remaining open to feedback and learning opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Skills: Business Communications, Client Relationship Building, Issue Management, Litigation, Office Administration
Compensation: $18.65 - 29.54 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
