Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of related experience or 45 college hours.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and database software.
  • Typing 50 wpm; ability to pass skills tests.

Responsibilities

  • Assists attorneys by making follow-up calls on cases, retrieving documentation and drafting legal correspondence using standardized formats.
  • Greets, screens and routes visitors and calls, takes messages and answers routine inquiries.
  • Enters and maintains case and statistical data and generates related reports.
  • Maintains filing system, receiving, filing, sorting, verifying and routing documents.
  • Assists attorneys with copies, deliveries, filing with courts and office supplies.
  • Provides limited assistance regarding computer/software issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
