Job summary

Aptino, Inc. is seeking a skilled software modernization specialist in Round Rock, TX to analyze legacy systems and craft modernization roadmaps. You will refactor, rebuild, or replatform alongside architects, DevOps, and modernization squads to deliver scalable, API-driven solutions.

You will develop modern applications and integrations, improve performance, and ensure smooth testing, releases, and cutover activities across on-premise and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in application modernization or legacy transformation.
• Strong development skills in Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and cloud-ready architecture.
• Experience working with legacy applications and on-premise systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with modernization tools
• Any cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
