ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Approve incoming materials by verifying specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests; reject unacceptable materials.
  • Approve in-process production by confirming specifications and communicating adjustments to supervisors.
  • Approve finished products by verifying specifications, conducting tests, and managing re-work processes.
  • Document inspection results and summarize re-work and waste data.
  • Maintain measurement equipment and ensure safety standards are followed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated.
  • Contribute to quality and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be able to perform all duties satisfactorily. Knowledge of hand tools and prior experience or on-the-job training are advantageous. Regular attendance is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED is required, with additional training in hazardous waste recycling and fire safety as needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands regularly. Moving molds may be required. Contact with hazardous chemicals is possible; respirator certification is optional.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Moderate noise level, with occasional heat and fumes. Hearing protection may be required. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for disabilities.
