Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Approve incoming materials by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.
  • Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and communicating adjustments.
  • Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and managing rework processes.
  • Document inspection results through reports and logs, and input data into the quality database.
  • Maintain measurement equipment and ensure proper operation.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and regulations.
  • Enhance knowledge through educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
  • Support quality and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Candidates must be capable of performing all essential duties satisfactorily. Knowledge of hand tools is advantageous, acquired through experience or on-the-job training. Regular attendance is required.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is required. Participation in annual training for hazardous waste recycling and fire safety is expected.

Language Skills

Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, and use hands regularly. Moving molds is required; lifting is minimal. Contact with chemicals and fumes may occur, with optional respirator certification.

Work Environment

Moderate noise levels, with the need for hearing protection. Exposure to fumes and gases; environment may be warm or hot.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
