Goodwill NYNJ is seeking a Donation Attendant to greet donors, sort donations, and keep donation areas tidy. This role supports customer service and operations in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a flexible schedule and training in donation guidelines and safety practices, with opportunities to learn pallet jack operation and overall inventory management. • Sort and process incoming donations
• Provide donation receipts when requested
• Help maintain efficient operations
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following all safety procedures and lifting practices
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
• Operating equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided)
• Welcome donors with professionalism and appreciation
• Assist with unloading donations
• Provide information about Goodwill’s programs and services
• Ensure every donor has a positive experience
• Receive, assess, and sort donated items
• Follow donation handling and pricing guidelines
• Maintain accurate donation records
• Support inventory flow and organization
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
