Job summary

PD Instore is seeking an Illumination Assembler to assemble, wire, install, test, and inspect LED lighting components used in retail displays and fixtures. You will work with LED strips, drivers, connectors, diffusers, and power supplies to create safe, reliable illuminated assemblies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to follow drawings and assembly instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Ability to read drawings and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install LED lighting components into displays, fixtures and subassemblies.
• Install LED strips, panels, modules, drivers, wiring, connectors and diffusers.
• Measure, mark and securely mount lighting components.
• Perform basic electrical wiring: stripping, crimping and soldering.
• Test assemblies for proper operation and quality.
• Follow drawings, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and collaborate with teams.
