Job summary

PD Instore in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Illumination Assembler to assemble, install, and test LED lighting components for retail displays. You will work with LED strips, panels, drivers, wiring, and related components, following drawings and safety procedures to deliver high-quality illuminated assemblies.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical/electrical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read assembly instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble LED lighting components into displays and fixtures.
• Install LED strips, panels, drivers, wiring and related components per requirements.
• Measure, mark, and mount components with appropriate fasteners.
• Perform basic electrical wiring including stripping, crimping, soldering and connectors.
• Ensure correct voltage compatibility and safe electrical connections.
• Test assemblies for operation, document results as needed.
