Salary range

A reasonable estimate for this position is $70,977 - $77,561. The posted salary rate range is for a full-time 100% appointment. Salary will be prorated based on the percent of appointment for part-time lecturer positions.

• AAS 17, "Women in African Societies" (4 units)
• AAS 107A, "African Descent Communities & Culture in the Caribbean & Latin America" (4 units)

Spring Quarter 2027

• AAS 18, "Introduction to Caribbean Studies" (4 units)

Qualifications

A Ph.D. is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are ABD, hold an M.A. degree in a related field, and/or who have previous experience teaching at the college/university level.
