Ithaca College is seeking qualified part-time lecturers for the Department of Writing to support teaching needs for the 2026-2027 academic year. The pool may lead to openings across various courses and times. Applicants must hold a master’s degree; college teaching experience is preferred and welcomed to strengthen candidacy.

The School of Humanities and Sciences is creating a pool of qualified part-time lecturers in the Department of Writing for possible openings during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Position Qualifications

Applicants are required to hold a master’s degree. College teaching experience is preferred.

Part-time or adjunct bargaining unit employees are all part-time faculty employed by Ithaca College at its Ithaca, New York campus including but not limited to faculty in the titles of Lecturer or Adjunct. Hiring rate: $2,059.25 per credit hour.
