Overview

The Department of Communication and Theatre at Auburn University atMontgomery invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-timelecturer position, to begin August 2026. This is a one-year(nine-month), renewable appointment.

Comprehensive benefits include health and life insurance, andparticipation in the state pension system (RSA TRS).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include teaching courses appropriate to theneeds of the department and maintaining office hours. The teachingload is 4-4 courses (24 credit hrs) per academic year (Fall andSpring). Summer teaching is possible.

The successful candidate will join three colleagues in an esteemedTheatre program that produces three annual productions with TheatreAUM, one of which receives an external response for the AmericanCollege Theater Festival each year.
