Brandeis University seeks an instructor for MATH 2f Introduction to STEM Skills, a two-credit course scheduled for Spring 2027. The course supports students who do not qualify for calculus, building essential math skills and a learning community.

No prerequisites are required and preference is given to candidates with an MA or PhD in mathematics or education and prior teaching experience. Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 to 3:50 pm.

The Department of Mathematics at Brandeis University seeks an instructor for MATH 2f Introduction to STEM Skills, a two-credit course in Spring 2027. This course is intended to provide support to students who do not qualify to take a calculus class or need extra support to succeed in these classes. It helps students build the basic mathematical skills they will need in STEM courses, hone their problem-solving skills, and develop and leverage a learning community at Brandeis. There are no pre-requisite for this class. The class meets Monday and Wednesday, 2:30pm – 3:50pm.Candidates with a MA or a PhD in mathematics or education, and teaching experience in these domains, will be given preference. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, CV, a draft course syllabus, and names and contact information for two references.
