Job summary

UHI Moray invites applications for a Lecturer in Computing. This on-campus, fixed-term post runs until 29 January 2027, with 15.22 hours per week (0.435 FTE). Salary range £43,403 - £52,247 pro rata, per annum, with closing date 9am, 30 September 2026.

PVG membership or Disclosure Scotland check is required. Prior teaching in Computing is desirable and appointment is subject to PVG. Successful candidates will have SCQF Level 9 qualification and experience in software development, mobile

UHI Moray are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the post of Lecturer in Computing.

Successful applicants will be educated to SCQF Level 9 and will have experience of Software Development, Mobile Technologies, programming skills e.g. C#, PHP, HTML & CSS and knowledge of RDMS (MySQL & Normalisation).

Previous teaching or training in Computing is desirable.

This is an on-campus role.

All appointments are made subject to appropriate PVG Membership.
