Job summary

UHI Moray is seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join the on-campus team. The role focuses on delivering Computing content with emphasis on software development, mobile technologies, and database knowledge.

Applicants should have experience in teaching or training Computing and hold SCQF Level 9 qualifications. The appointment is fixed-term until 29 January 2027, pro rata for 15.22 hours per week, with PVG membership required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RDMS, specifically MySQL and Normalisation.

UHI Moray are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the post of Lecturer in Computing.

Successful applicants will be educated to SCQF Level 9 and will have experience of Software Development, Mobile Technologies, programming skills e.g. C#, PHP, HTML & CSS and knowledge of RDMS (MySQL & Normalisation).

Previous teaching or training in Computing is desirable.

This is an on-campus role.

All appointments are made subject to appropriate PVG Membership.
