The Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Lecturer position in the First Year Experience (FYE) faculty group. The regular teaching load is twelve contact hours per long semester, often with several sections of the same course in any semester. The regular teaching course load for this position is twelvecontact hours per a long semester (i.e Fall and Spring), often withseveral sections of the same course in any semester. Courseassignments will be at the undergraduate level, focusing onfirst-year engineering courses and a limited number of sophomoreengineering courses as well.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, non-tenure-track position,as a Lecturer. Appointments are made on a 9-month basis, salarycommensurate with experience.
