Position Overview

The Lurie College of Education has developed a 4-course series to fulfill the California CTC requirements for Computer Science Authorization. The adjunct faculty will teach these courses in a hybrid modality, ensuring all requirements are met:

• Demonstrate awareness of and experience with a diverse student population, utilizing inclusive materials and strategies.
• Organize all classes within Canvas LMS.
• Offer and meet classes as scheduled throughout the semester in the assigned mode (asynchronous, synchronous, hybrid, in-person).

Required Qualifications

• M.S. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings.
• Experience teaching computer science content to K-12 and college students.
• Experience developing professional development and academic courses in computer science education.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to multicultural educational goals, gained through cross-cultural study, training, or teaching experiences.

Salary Range and Application
