Temporary Long-Term Teaching Opportunity

Leave Replacement High School Teacher of Physical Education

Effective Date: On or about October 13, 2026, until approximately January 12, 2027, subject to change.

Salary: $63,307/year prorated, if not an ESS employee. If ESS employee, the rate will be $165-$175/day.

Benefits: Non-ESS subs only: Employee-only Medical and Prescription benefits offered effective 60 days after start date.Prorated Sick days provided.

*This is a temporary, non-tenure-track position. Pursuant to New Jersey statutory law (N.J.S.A. 18A:16-1.1), the selected candidate will serve strictly in a temporary capacity as a replacement for an absent board employee. Service in this leave-replacement role shall not count toward the acquisition of tenure or seniority within the district.
