Paterson Public School District is seeking a Leave Replacement School Psychologist in Paterson, New Jersey. Qualifications

• Hold a valid New Jersey School Psychologist certificate
• Certificate - MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN POWER SCHOOL
• Experience working on a Child Study Team
• Demonstrate an understanding of current rules and regulations with federal and state mandated special education timelines
• Demonstrate an understanding of current Child Study Team assessments and program criteria
• Experience working with school age students with special needs
• Have ability to relate to and work with children with disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community
