Job summary

The Hagedorn Little Village School – Seaford, NY is hiring a Leave Replacement Special Education Teacher. This full-time role involves implementing lesson plans for students with developmental disabilities in alignment with NYSED guidelines.

Qualifications

• NYSED certification for Students with Disabilities Birth-Grade 2.
• NYSED certification for Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6.
• Ability to develop differentiated instruction per NYSED standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement lesson plans for students with developmental disabilities as per NYSED guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support student progress.
• Maintain organized records and demonstrate strong communication with families.
