Job summary

Glaukos Corporation is seeking a Leave of Absence Manager to oversee leave, accommodations, disability, and workers' compensation programs. You will manage complex employee cases, advise stakeholders, and ensure compliant solutions for a global workforce, with primary responsibility for U.S. operations.

The role requires strong judgment, analytical abilities, and experience with HRIS and Microsoft 365. Certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR/CLMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent employee benefits administration experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience administering leave, accommodations, disability, and workers' compensation programs.
• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements, including multi-state compliance.
• Experience independently managing complex and sensitive employee cases and partnering with third-party administrators.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end administration of leave of absence, disability, workplace accommodation, return-to-work, and workers' compensation programs.
• Manage complex and sensitive employee cases ensuring compliance with laws and company requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees, managers, HR Partners, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal on leave eligibility, accommodations, pay impacts, and return-to-work planning.
• Partner with third-party administrators to ensure quality service and timely resolutions.
• Develop policies, procedures, training materials, and documentation to support consistency and compliance.
• Monitor program metrics, analyze trends, conduct audits, and drive process improvements.
