Job summary

Lucchese Bootmaker is seeking a Prefit Full Time Production operator in El Paso to cement quarter linings to boot uppers, handle leather materials, and ensure accurate alignment for subsequent fittings. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years leather goods/boot manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed work orders.

Responsibilities

• Receive cut quarters and lining components and verify against work ticket, style, size, and color.
• Apply cement to quarters and linings with brush, roller, or cementing machine according to instructions.
• Align linings to quarters per pattern marks and specifications to ensure smooth bonds.
• Perform in-process quality checks for defects, wrinkles, or excess cement.
• Meet daily production quotas while maintaining Lucchese quality and craftsmanship standards.
