Job summary

Drucker + Falk is seeking a Leasing Specialist for Newport Lake in Reston, VA. You will lease apartments, respond to resident inquiries, and support office staff while upholding company policies and maintaining market-ready units.

You will greet new residents, qualify applicants, show vacancies, and assist in retention programs. Some travel and occasional weekend hours may be required. This role emphasizes customer service and sales skills in a community setting.

• Lease apartments at the highest effective rent level possible, while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy.
• Maintain a courteous and helpful attitude at all times.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and courteously and help resolve resident issues.

Responsibilities

• Complete lease documents accurately and timely.

• Assist in leasing activities and resident relations.
• Know rent levels and amenities of competitive communities.
• Prepare competitive market survey reports as needed.
• Greet new residents and assist with move-in.
• Qualify potential residents and verify application data.
• Show model and available vacancies.
• Coordinate community events and become Leasing Specialist certified.
• Travel may be required; occasional weekend hours may be needed.
