S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking a Leasing Consultant for our Dam Neck Square community in Virginia Beach, VA. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on achieving maximum occupancy with quality residents and requires attendance and reliability for smooth team operations.

The Leasing Consultant will conduct property tours, process credit checks, and prepare lease packets while upholding Fair Housing laws and providing excellent customer service to prospective residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some advanced real estate training, including familiarity with the Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws, and prior experience in a leasing position; Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing them.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a visible public relations’ attitude toward current and prospective residents.
